2. About RedMate
RedMate is a platform designed to help people who need blood connect with potential blood donors.
RedMate provides tools that may allow users to:
- Create blood requests
- Discover relevant blood requests
- Respond to blood requests
- Indicate whether they can help
- Receive notifications related to blood requests
- View approximate distances and locations
- Communicate with other users where supported by the application
RedMate is not a hospital, blood bank, medical provider, ambulance service, or emergency medical service.
3. User Accounts
Some RedMate features require you to create an account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when creating or maintaining your profile
- Keep your account information reasonably up to date
- Use your own account
- Not impersonate another person
- Not provide false or misleading information intentionally
- Take reasonable steps to protect access to your account
You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
4. Blood Requests
Users may create blood requests through RedMate.
When creating a request, you should provide accurate and relevant information.
Depending on the information you provide, a blood request may include:
- Required blood group
- Location
- Request details
- Required date or urgency
- Other information necessary to help potential donors understand the request
You should not create false, misleading, fraudulent, or unnecessary blood requests.
If your blood requirement has been fulfilled or is no longer active, you should update or cancel the request where the application provides that option.
5. Donor Responses
Potential donors may respond to blood requests by indicating that they can help or that they are unavailable.
A response through RedMate does not guarantee that a donation will take place.
RedMate does not guarantee that:
- A donor will ultimately donate blood
- A blood request will be fulfilled
- A donor is medically eligible to donate
- A particular blood group or donation is medically suitable
- A blood request is genuine or medically accurate
Users should independently confirm medical and donation requirements with the relevant hospital, blood bank, or qualified healthcare professional.
6. User-Provided Information
You are responsible for information you submit through RedMate.
You should not submit information that is:
- False or misleading
- Illegal
- Abusive or threatening
- Intended to harm another person
- Unnecessarily sensitive
- In violation of another person's privacy or rights
You should only provide information that is reasonably necessary for using the relevant RedMate feature.
7. Location Features
RedMate may use device location to provide location-based features such as nearby blood requests, potential donors, and approximate distances.
Location information is used to support RedMate's functionality.
You are responsible for ensuring that any location information you provide as part of a blood request is reasonably accurate.
You can control location permissions through your device settings.
8. Communication and Contact Between Users
RedMate may provide features that allow users to contact or communicate with other users in connection with a blood request.
Users must communicate respectfully and lawfully.
You must not use RedMate to:
- Harass or threaten another person
- Send spam or unwanted messages
- Request unnecessary personal information
- Attempt to defraud another user
- Use another user's information for unrelated purposes
- Engage in unlawful activity
You should exercise appropriate caution when communicating with people you do not know.
9. Medical Disclaimer
RedMate does not provide medical advice.
Information displayed through RedMate should not be treated as medical advice, diagnosis, or professional medical guidance.
Blood donation and transfusion decisions should be made with appropriate healthcare professionals, hospitals, or blood banks.
Users should contact the appropriate emergency medical services or healthcare provider rather than relying solely on RedMate.
10. User Safety and Responsibility
RedMate is intended to facilitate connections between users.
Users are responsible for making their own decisions about communication, meetings, donations, and other interactions resulting from the use of the platform.
RedMate does not independently verify every user, blood request, donor response, medical claim, or interaction.
Users should take reasonable precautions when interacting with other users and should report suspicious or abusive activity where reporting functionality is available.
11. Prohibited Use
You must not use RedMate to:
- Create fraudulent or fake blood requests
- Misrepresent your identity
- Misrepresent your blood group or medical information
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Collect user information for unauthorized purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the application or its systems
- Interfere with the operation or security of RedMate
- Use RedMate for unlawful activities
- Circumvent or misuse application security measures
- Upload or transmit malicious software or harmful content
We may take appropriate action if we believe an account or activity violates these Terms.
12. Account Deletion and Suspension
You can delete your RedMate account through the application:
When you select Delete Account, your RedMate account and profile are deleted, subject to applicable legal, security, and operational requirements.
We may restrict or suspend access to an account where reasonably necessary to:
- Protect users
- Prevent fraud or abuse
- Protect the security of RedMate
- Investigate violations of these Terms
- Comply with applicable law
13. Availability of the Service
We aim to keep RedMate available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee that the application will always be available or uninterrupted.
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of:
- Maintenance
- Technical problems
- Internet or network failures
- Third-party service interruptions
- Security incidents
- Circumstances outside our reasonable control
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of RedMate when reasonably necessary.
14. Third-Party Services
RedMate relies on third-party services to provide certain functionality.
These may include services such as:
- Firebase Authentication
- Cloud Firestore
- Firebase Cloud Messaging
- Google Maps Platform
- Google Sign-In
Your use of features provided through third-party services may also be subject to the applicable terms and policies of those providers.

The RedMate application, branding, logos, design, content, software, and related materials are owned by or licensed to RedMate/NikkoBites unless otherwise stated.
You may use RedMate only for its intended purpose.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reproduce, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit RedMate or its materials without appropriate authorization, except where such activity is permitted by applicable law.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
RedMate is provided on an as-available basis.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that:
- RedMate will always be available
- Information provided by users will always be accurate
- Blood requests will be fulfilled
- A suitable donor will be found
- A donor will complete a donation
- The service will always operate without errors or interruptions
Users remain responsible for independently verifying important medical, personal, and logistical information.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, RedMate and NikkoBites will not be responsible for losses or damages arising from:
- User-provided information that is inaccurate or misleading
- Interactions between users
- A donor's decision not to donate
- An unsuccessful blood request
- Medical decisions or outcomes
- User conduct outside the RedMate platform
- Temporary service interruptions
- Third-party service failures
- Unauthorized conduct by other users
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to RedMate, our services, or applicable requirements.
When important changes are made, we may provide appropriate notice through the application or our website.
The latest version will always show the updated effective date.
Your continued use of RedMate after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of India.
Any disputes relating to RedMate or these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in India, subject to applicable law.
